Building in Mbour: what to check
- The legal status of the land: land title, lease or council allocation — have it checked by a notary before buying.
- The building permit, to be requested from the council of the municipality where the land is located.
- The type of soil, often sandy near the coast: it determines the foundations.
- Water and electricity connections, to be arranged in advance with the utility providers.
